Darryl Cox is from Oregon and works to make "Fusion Frames" using wood and different types of frames. He had decided to start making Fusion Frames in 2011 because of how passionate he is about them and his desire to pass them onto others. In order to make these frames, he must find the exact type of frame that closely matches the type of root he wants to incorporate. Some roots he uses are manzanita, juniper, grapevines, and aspen trees. He can only make about 25 pieces each year because it takes extensive amounts of painting and woodworking to mend the two objects together.
